So, I was trolling around Facebook and saw that Arron Barringer posted a video and called a dude out for being a fraud. After watching it, I've got to say that the whole thing looks staged, especially the knife "attack" at 0:06. The "attacker" swings the knife from about 2 feet away.
None the less, I'll let you decide:

Muay Thai vs Karate – Who has the better kick

Back in May, before the Machida/Shogun rematch, ESPN's Sports Science brought in Brandon Vera to do a comparison between the Muay Thai kick and the Karate kick. What they found was that the Muay Thai kick generated more force but the Karate kick was faster. They compared it to the difference between a jab and a straight.
